We traveled to out to Leesburg VA for a fantastic intro to woodworking workshop with @christohwu! For the demo, local artist Christoh Wu showed us his tools, shared his creations, and broke down the difference between soft and hard wood trees. (Softwood comes from coniferous trees while hardwood comes from deciduous, flowering trees that lose their leaves each year!) The youth then worked with Chris step by step to construct and stain decorative storage boxes.
